Our hovercraft has Four rudders for the steering. These rudders are connected to the base by sticks and to ensure that they are stable they were also connected to each other with the stir stick and than the stick was connected to the middle of the base with another stick.
To make to rudders move simultaneously, the wire was used to connect the rudders and the motor to each other.
